GOOD QUESTIONS. HONEST ANSWERS.

Everything you've been wondering.

If you've never worked with a travel advisor before, you probably have questions. Here are the ones I hear most — answered straight.

  • Nothing. Not a single dollar.

My services are completely free to you. I'm compensated by the resorts and suppliers I book through, which is the same model every major travel advisor uses. You get expert, personalized planning at no cost, and the price you pay for your trip is the same as if you'd booked directly. Sometimes less, because advisors have access to promotions the public doesn't.

  • There isn't one.

I know that sounds too good to be true, but this is genuinely how the travel advisor industry works. Resorts and suppliers pay advisors a commission because we send them business. That commission comes out of their marketing budget — not your pocket. You're not paying a premium for my help. You're just getting help.

  • You absolutely could book yourself. Plenty of people do.

But here's what you'd be taking on: hours of research across resort websites, Facebook groups, and review platforms that often contradict each other. Decisions about room categories that look identical in photos but feel completely different in person. The mental load of coordinating flights, transfers, and travel insurance on top of everything else you're already managing.

I've personally visited nine resorts. I know which room categories are worth the upgrade, which experiences live up to the hype, and which ones you can skip. I've made the mistakes on my own trips, so you don't have to make them on yours. And when something goes wrong, a flight change, a room issue, anything — you have someone in your corner who knows how to fix it.

  • Beaches and Sandals are my specialty; it's where I have the deepest firsthand knowledge and where I can give you the most confident recommendation.

That said, I also plan Disney vacations and family cruises, honeymoons, Hawaii, and Europe vacations. If you're not sure which type of trip is right for your family, that's actually a great conversation to have. I'll help you figure it out.

  • The earlier the better — especially for peak travel times like spring break, summer, and the holidays. Popular room categories at Beaches Resorts sell out months in advance, and the best availability is always earlier in the booking window.

That said, if you're thinking about a trip that's coming up soon, reach out anyway. I'll tell you honestly what's available and whether it makes sense to move forward.

  • I'll follow up within one business day — usually faster. We'll have a conversation about your family, your travel style, and what you're hoping to get out of this trip. From there, I do the research, put together a recommendation that's specific to your family, and walk you through it.

When you're ready to move forward, I handle the booking. You don't lift a finger.

  • That's exactly when having an advisor matters most.

If something changes before you travel — a flight issue, a resort change, anything — I'm on it. You don't spend hours on hold with a 1-800 number. You text me.

During your trip I'm available if anything comes up. My clients don't navigate problems alone. That's part of what you get when you work with me. description
